Simple machines

1.- What is a simple machine?

2.-Why do we use simple machines

Nosotros utilizamos como máquina simple el torno porque es cilíndrica, gira libremente alrededor de un eje el cual funciona con un motor, poleas y engranajes. con esta maquina se puede realizar diferentes tipos de trabajos por ejemplo:

  • Piezas cónicas

  • Hilo interior

  • Hilo exterior

  • Muletear

  • Taladrar

  • Debastar

  • Cilindrar

  • Trozar


 We use a simple machine for example the lathe because it is cylindrical, it rotates around an axis that works with a motor, pulleys and gears. With this machine you can perform different types of works, for example.

  • conical pieces
  • interior thread
  • exterior thread
  • muletear
  • punch out
  • debastar
  • cilindrar
  • trozar
3.-Name six simple machines

1- Wheel & Axle - Makes work easier by moving objects across distances.



2- Inclined Plane - A flat surface and inclined so it can help move objects. A common inclined plane is a ramp.


3- Wedge - An ax blade is one example of a wedge.

4- Lever - Levers can lift objects. A  fulcrum is the  support on which a lever moves. 

5- Pulley -, a rope is attached to a pulley to raise and lower objects.


6- Screw - It is used to hold objects.
